Things To Do Around Happy On The Hill

A famous footpath up Creech Hill to the site of a Romano-Celtic temple is just nearby with fields offering fossil finding and ancient woodland to explore.  In Gabriel’s Wagon, walks are mapped out for you to enjoy to the local Saxon town of Bruton along drovers lanes to visit Hauser & Wirth’s Somerset gallery. For foodies, this town is a delight, with Hauser & Wirth’s Roth Bar, At the Chapel and Matts Kitchen, to name but a few. You can also make your way along the river at Spargrove, to sit beside the log fire in the Three Horseshoes pub in Batcombe, or enjoy the garden in the summer. For city life, the magnificent Georgian City of Bath is within 20 miles as is Bristol.
